First trip of 2013: Oporto

No hay forma mejor que empezar un nuevo año viendo, conociendo y empapándote de nuevas cosas. Oporto fue el destino elegido esta vez, y la verdad es que me sorprendió para bien. Una ciudad con muchísimo encanto, llena de rincones mágicos y con unas vistas alucinantes. Os dejo con las fotos del viaje, estoy segura de que os enamoraréis de la ciudad :)

There's no better way to start a new year seeing, knowing and being immersed in a new place. Oporto was the chosen destination this time, and the truth is that the city surprised me in a good sense. A charmed place, full of magic spots and amazing views. Here you have a selection of pictures we took, I'm sure you'll fall in love with the city as much as I did :)

Os dejo con el último post del año, y es que estoy a puntito de volar a Oporto :D. El jersey y el collar han sido dos regalos que encontré debajo del árbol (qué suerte la mía!), y el bolso de Bolsarium uno de mis recientes descubrimientos: Un clásico que nos saca de muchísimos apuros y que nos hace la vida más práctica sin abandonar estilo y elegancia. ¿Qué os parece? Here is the last post of the year, because I'm about to fly to Oporto :D. The sweater and the necklace have been two gifts I found under the Christmas tree (how lucky I am!), and the bag from Bolsarium has been one of my recent finds: A classic that gets us out of tight spots and makes our lives more simple without giving up style and elegance. ¿Por qué comprarme camisetas si se las puedo coger prestadas a Roc? (: Ésta es de mis preferidas, con un estampado muy original y adaptable a diferentes looks. Me apetecía mucho crear un outfit negro y que sólo fuese la camiseta la que rompiese con el total look. Feliz fin de semana!

Why should I buy T-shirts if I can borrow them from Roc's closet? (: This one is one of my favourites, with a very original print. I really felt like creating a total black look in order to let the T-shirt break the monotony. Happy weekend!

Shook me all night long

Siempre me ha gustado llevar cosas en la cabeza, sombreros, gorros y gorras en todas sus variantes y estilos, siempre y cuando me gusten y me favorezcan, claro! Las medias de calaveras me gustaron tanto que estuve a punto de comprarme dos a la vez, ya sabéis, por si acaso les pasa algo en breves. Espero que os guste y feliz martes!

I've always loved wearing things on my head, hats, beanies and cups as long as they look good on me, of course! I fell so in love with the skull pair of tights that I was about to buy them twice, you know, just in case something happen to them. Hope you like it and happy Tuesday!

 

Ladykiller

Si tengo que escoger 3 colores para esta temporada son, definitivamente, los que llevo en este outfit: negro, granate y camel. Las botas con tachas rompen el estilo lady creado por la blusa y mi nueva chaqueta, y las gafas de un tono similar a la blusa aportan el toque final al look. No me las quito desde que las encontré en una tienda de segunda mano.

If I have to choose 3 colours for this season, they're definitely the ones that I'm wearing in this outfit: black, maroon and camel. The studded boots break with the lady style created by the blouse and my new jacket, and the sunglasses with the similar colour of the blouse give the final touch to the look. I don't take them off since I found them by chance in a second-hand store.

Energy

Me encanta esta sesión de fotos que hicimos con Andrea hace algunos días y que tenía muchas ganas de enseñaros. El resultado no me puede gustar más! Lo admito, nunca he soportado a la Stewart. Y menos a la saga que la ha hecho archifamosa junto con su queridísimo novio. Pero durante este año me he llevado muchas sorpresas con diferentes looks de la actriz, asídua a los eventos y premières de sus películas. Así que he decidido darle una oportunidad y, más aún, dedicarle esta entrada en el blog. ¡Pero menudos looks se ha marcada últimamente! Vamos, que lo reconozco, está que se sale. ¿Tendrá algo que ver su sonada reconciliación con el Pattinson? Si así es, bienvenido seas Robert.

I admit it, I couldn't stand Stewart. As either the Twilight saga, which launched her to fame along with her beloved boyfriend. But during this year I've been really surprised with loads of looks the actress has worn to events and premières. So, I've decided to give her a chance and, what's more, dedicate to Kristen a post on the blog. I really fell in love with her latest looks! Ok, I admit it, she is wearing head-turning outfits everywhere she goes. Does it have something to do with her reconciliation with Pattinson? If that's the case, you're more than welcome, Robert.

Good times

Sigo con fotos del fin de semana pasado en uno de los sitios más mágicos encontrado en medio de la nada. Los mejores colores vistos en mi vida estaban allí, juntos y revueltos, algo nunca visto. Y también estaba él :). Tenía ganas de volver a ponerme esta falda que ya os enseñé en una ocasión (ver aquí) antes de que empiece el frio infernal, aunque ésta vez quise darle un toque de color y huir de mi querida combinación blanco y negro. La blusa, de mi madre de hace 30 años, por lo mínimo. Espero que os guste!

Here are some more pictures taken the last weekend in one of the most magic places, found it in the middle of nowhere. The best colours I've ever seen in my whole life were there, it really amazed me. And he was there as well :). I wanted to wear again this black leathered skirt which I already showed you once (see here), but this time I've wanted to give a touch of colour to the outfit and avoid my beloved combination black and white. The blouse, from my mom when she was my age. Hope you like it!

She loves you

Después de un fin de semana de desconnexión, sin tecnología alrededor, he vuelto nueva. Qué bien que sienta! Estas fotos son de estos días, en el medio de la nada, donde contemplamos el otoño en toda su esencia. El look está lleno de diferentes texturas, y la verdad es que me encanta como quedó. Las medias son de mi madre cuando tenía mi edad y siguen intactas! Espero que os guste y feliz inicio de semana!!

After spending the weekend out of town I lost touch with all kind of technology. And it really feels so good! These pictures have been taken these days, in the middle of nowhere, where we could contemplate the pure autumn. And the outfit is full of different textures, and I really like the result. Heard that sound

Otro look con sombrero, y es que no me los puedo sacar de la cabeza! jiji. Éste en concreto me gusta combinarlo con denim, diferentes marrones y negro. La cazadora tejana, otra de mis prendas infalibles, le saco mucho partido en un sinfín de outfits y nunca ha conseguido cansarme. ¿Y qué mejor que combinarlo todo con mi print favorito por excelencia? Me encanta poder encontrar en la tienda de mi madre este tipo de jerseys, y si son con estampado de leopardo, mucho mejor! Espero que os guste!!

Another look with a hat, I can't take them off of my head! When it comes to this one, I like to combine it with denim, different tones of brown and black. The denim jacket, another sure basic in my wardrobe, I make the most of it in a great deal of outfits and I never get tired of it. And what's better than combining all of this with my favourite print? I love finding in my mom's shop this kind of sweaters and, if they're with leopard print, even better! Hope you like it!!

Bubbles

¿Qué os parecen estas medias con tiras? Hace muchísimo tiempo que las tengo y me las he puesto veces contadas. Ayer las volví a descobrir en un cajón y me apeteció crear un look con ellas, cómodo y sencillo, sin ninguna complicación. El jersey ya me lo habéis visto por aquí en alguna ocasión, pero es que me encanta lo adorable que es y lo bien que me siento cuando lo llevo. Espero que os guste! :)

What do you think about these tights? I've them since a long time ago, but I've worn them very few times. Yesterday, I found them somewhere in a drawer and I felt like creating a look with them, a comfy and simple outfit, without complications. You've seen this pullover in some post on the blog, but the truth is that I love it because it makes me feel very comfortable with myself. Hope you like it! :)

Sweet Home Alabama

Las faldas son, sin duda, mi última prenda fetiche. Me gustan tanto en forma de campana (ver aquí) como en su versión más entallada y en forma de tubo como la que llevo. En mi opinión son ideales para diferentes ocasiones, y es que jugando con las demás prendas y complementos del look podemos transformarnos en nuestra versión más elegante o en la más desenfadada e informal. Tengo que confesar que últimamente no me quito ni para dormir estas gafas vintage que encontré en el Raval y que me enamoraron por su forma y su color rosa-morado medio transparente, originales y poco vistas aún. Espero que os guste!

The skirts are my last acquisitions in my wardrobe. I like bell shaped skirts (see here) and the ones more fitted like the one I'm wearing. Personally they're perfect for different occasions, as we can create a great deal of looks by changing the rest of the garments and complements of the outfit; from a more elegant version of ourselves to a more free-an-easy and informal one. I've to confess that I don't take these new vintage sunglasses off, it was love at first sight for its shape and its pink-purple colour, as well as for its see-through material, which totally caught my attention. Hope you like it!

Closing time

He decidido que éste otoño-invierno no me voy a desprender de mis prendas de colores más veraniegos, como estos pantalones. Sí, sé que os pueden parecen de verano por su color y degradado, pero aportan luz al look y creo que ésto es importante en época de frío en la que parece que mundo se haya puesto de acuerdo en llevar colores oscuros. Y, si hace más y más frío, ¡con medias debajo! El jersey de blonda, de la tienda de mi madre del año pasado. Qué suerte la mía poder encontrar cosas tan bonitas como ésta allí y contar con una asistente personal que sé que siempre me va a decir la verdad de cómo me quedan las cosas :) jiji. I've decided that, this fall-winter, I'm not going to get rid of my garments in summery colours, like this pair of jeans. Yes, I know they may look a garment you would wear in summer for its colour and tie-dye effect, but they give a touch of light to the outfit and I think this is very important for cold season where it seems everybody has come to an agreement when it comes to wear dark colours. And, if it gets colder, with tighs under the jeans! The lace sweater, from my mom's clothes shop (a/w'11). I'm lucky that I can find beautiful things there and, at the same time, I can count with my personal assistant, who will always tell me the truth about how the garments fit on me :) jiji. Wake up

Esta blusa bicolor la encontré en Madrid y me gustó por ser diferente a todas las que tengo. Y, como ya es muy ancha de por sí, me encanta llevarla cerrada hasta el último botón, así también se percibe más el detalle dorado en las puntas del cuello. Combinada, en esta ocasión, con unos pitillo negro y las botas de tachuelas para aportarle mi sello más característico, jiji. ¿Qué opináis? Espero que os guste!

I found by chance this two-coloured blouse in Madrid and I liked it because it's different from the other ones I have. I love wearing it with all buttons up, so that the golden detail on the neck is perceived more easily. Combined, in this occasion, with a black skinny jeans and the studded boots to give to the look my most characteristic signature, jiji. What do you think? Hope you like it!

Hell for leather

 Hoy os quiero enseñar una falda de cuero que me enamoró nada más verla por su originalidad y su corte, además de ser de uno de mis tejidos preferidos que va con todo. La camiseta blanca con estampado de graffiti y las sneakers aportan el toque más informal al look, así como también la cazadora tejana. Creo que le voy a sacar muchísimo partido a esta falda en una infinidad de looks de diferentes estilos, y es que me la imagino tanto en looks más desenfadados como éste, como también en looks más lady. Today I want to show you a black leather skirt that I fell in love with at first sight for its originality and its cut, and also because its fabric, one of my favourites as you can wear it in loads of different looks. The white T-shirt with grafitti print and the sneakers give the informal touch to the outfit, as well as the denim jacket. I think I'm going to make the most of this skirt, as I can well imagine it in a great deal of looks, from free-and-easy to lady outfits. Hope you like it and happy weekend to everyone!
