First trip of 2013: Oporto

No hay forma mejor que empezar un nuevo año viendo, conociendo y empapándote de nuevas cosas. Oporto fue el destino elegido esta vez, y la verdad es que me sorprendió para bien. Una ciudad con muchísimo encanto, llena de rincones mágicos y con unas vistas alucinantes. Os dejo con las fotos del viaje, estoy segura de que os enamoraréis de la ciudad :)

There's no better way to start a new year seeing, knowing and being immersed in a new place. Oporto was the chosen destination this time, and the truth is that the city surprised me in a good sense. A charmed place, full of magic spots and amazing views. Here you have a selection of pictures we took, I'm sure you'll fall in love with the city as much as I did :)

Os dejo con el último post del año, y es que estoy a puntito de volar a Oporto :D. El jersey y el collar han sido dos regalos que encontré debajo del árbol (qué suerte la mía!), y el bolso de Bolsarium uno de mis recientes descubrimientos: Un clásico que nos saca de muchísimos apuros y que nos hace la vida más práctica sin abandonar estilo y elegancia. ¿Qué os parece? Espero que os guste! Feliz año nuevo a todos por adelantado, a disfrutar! :)

Here is the last post of the year, because I'm about to fly to Oporto :D. The sweater and the necklace have been two gifts I found under the Christmas tree (how lucky I am!), and the bag from Bolsarium has been one of my recent finds: A classic that gets us out of tight spots and makes our lives more simple without giving up style and elegance. Después de un fin de semana de desconnexión, sin tecnología alrededor, he vuelto nueva. Qué bien que sienta! Estas fotos son de estos días, en el medio de la nada, donde contemplamos el otoño en toda su esencia. El look está lleno de diferentes texturas, y la verdad es que me encanta como quedó. Las medias son de mi madre cuando tenía mi edad y siguen intactas! Espero que os guste y feliz inicio de semana!!

After spending the weekend out of town I lost touch with all kind of technology. And it really feels so good! These pictures have been taken these days, in the middle of nowhere, where we could contemplate the pure autumn. And the outfit is full of different textures, and I really like the result. The tights belong to my mom when she was my age and they're still intact! Hope you like it and happy Monday!!

¿Os acordáis del making of que os enseñé hace una semana de la primera colección de DeSeda Vintage Beauty, "Old Hollywood"? (Ver aquí). Pues estoy muy contenta de enseñaros por fin el resultado! Estas han sido las dos fotos seleccionadas de todas las que nos hicieron. Con Roc quisieron reinterpretar el estilo de James Dean, y conmigo el de una de las actrices más exuberantes de los años 40, Veronica Lake, introduciendo una tendencia muy actual como es el balayage (más conocido como mechas californianas) y grandes ondas en las puntas. ¿Qué os parece el resultado? La experiencia, sin duda, una de las mejores. Felicidades equipo!!!

Do you remember the making of I showed you last week of DeSeda Vintage Beauty first collection, "Old Hollywood"? (See it here). So here's the result, and I'm so excited to show it to you finally! These pictures have been the selected ones among all the other photos they took. With Roc wanted to reinterpret James Dean's style, and with me the style of one of the most exuberant actresses of the 40s, Veronica Lake, introducing a very up-to-date trend like the balayage effect (better known as California style) and big waves at the ends. Do you like the result? The experience, without a doubt, one of the best. Congratulations to the entire team!!!

Making of DeSeda "Old Hollywood Collection"

El domingo pasado fue el día elegido para llevar a cabo la sesión de fotos de la primera colección de DeSeda Vintage Beauty, Old Hollywood. Para la ocasión, cada una de las modelos estuvo inspirada con un personaje famoso de la década de los 50-60, y Veronica Lake fue la elegida para mi. ¿Creéis que está conseguido el personaje? (Vale sí, era rubia, pero eso no cuenta, jiji). Y, ¿quién mejor que representar a James Dean que mi chico? Creo que tienen un parecido muy razonable! Aunque también tengo que decir que el lugar donde hicimos las fotos y el trabajo por parte de mis dos peluqueras preferidas crearon el ambiente perfecto. Nuestra estilista nos proporcionó el vestuario adequado por cada uno de los personajes. Me quedé alucinada con toda la ropa vintage que tiene y los estilismos que ella misma crea! Su imaginación es pura inspiración. Fue una gran experiencia trabajar con un equipo como el que tuvimos, que ayudó a crear un ambiente relajado y familiar. Gracias a todos! Espero con muchas ganas ver el resultado de la primera colección DeSeda Vintage Beauty, seguro que será todo un éxito!

Last Sunday was the chosen day to carry out the photo shoot for the first collection of DeSeda Vintage Beauty called Old Hollywood. For the occasion, every model was inspired in a famous person of the 50s-60s, and I put myself in Veronica Lake's skin. Do you think we got it? (Ok, she was blonde, but it doesn't matter, jiji). And, who's better than my boy to represent James Dean? I think there's a close resemblance between them! Although I have to say that the place chosen for the photo shoot and my two favourites hairstylists created the perfect atmosphere. Our stylist provided us the clothes, and I was very surprised for all the vintage clothes she has and the outfits she create! Her imagination is true inspiration. It was an amazing experience to work with a team like the one we had, which helped out a lot to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Thanks to everybody! I look forward to seeing the final result of DeSeda Vintage Beauty first collection, I'm sure it'll be a great success!

Sweet Home Alabama

Las faldas son, sin duda, mi última prenda fetiche. Me gustan tanto en forma de campana (ver aquí) como en su versión más entallada y en forma de tubo como la que llevo. En mi opinión son ideales para diferentes ocasiones, y es que jugando con las demás prendas y complementos del look podemos transformarnos en nuestra versión más elegante o en la más desenfadada e informal. Tengo que confesar que últimamente no me quito ni para dormir estas gafas vintage que encontré en el Raval y que me enamoraron por su forma y su color rosa-morado medio transparente, originales y poco vistas aún. Espero que os guste!

The skirts are my last acquisitions in my wardrobe. I like bell shaped skirts (see here) and the ones more fitted like the one I'm wearing. Personally they're perfect for different occasions, as we can create a great deal of looks by changing the rest of the garments and complements of the outfit; from a more elegant version of ourselves to a more free-an-easy and informal one. I've to confess that I don't take these new vintage sunglasses off, it was love at first sight for its shape and its pink-purple colour, as well as for its see-through material, which totally caught my attention. Hope you like it!
