First trip of 2013: Oporto

No hay forma mejor que empezar un nuevo año viendo, conociendo y empapándote de nuevas cosas. Oporto fue el destino elegido esta vez, y la verdad es que me sorprendió para bien. Una ciudad con muchísimo encanto, llena de rincones mágicos y con unas vistas alucinantes. Os dejo con las fotos del viaje, estoy segura de que os enamoraréis de la ciudad :)

There's no better way to start a new year seeing, knowing and being immersed in a new place. Oporto was the chosen destination this time, and the truth is that the city surprised me in a good sense. A charmed place, full of magic spots and amazing views. Here you have a selection of pictures we took, I'm sure you'll fall in love with the city as much as I did :)

Shook me all night long

Siempre me ha gustado llevar cosas en la cabeza, sombreros, gorros y gorras en todas sus variantes y estilos, siempre y cuando me gusten y me favorezcan, claro! Las medias de calaveras me gustaron tanto que estuve a punto de comprarme dos a la vez, ya sabéis, por si acaso les pasa algo en breves. Espero que os guste y feliz martes!

I've always loved wearing things on my head, hats, beanies and cups as long as they look good on me, of course! I fell so in love with the skull pair of tights that I was about to buy them twice, you know, just in case something happen to them. Hope you like it and happy Tuesday!

 

Hello, again

Y seguimos con la sesión que hicimos en Badalona el pasado fin de semana. Para ésta segunda parte cambiamos de ambientación, aunque quedamos fascinadas de la playa y su puente. Vimos muchos sitios interesantes que nos podían servir de escenario, pero esta pared nos llamó especialmente la atención porque daba una luz muy cálida a las fotos y se fusionaba con el look por completo. Muchas gracias de nuevo a Mariona, de MW Photography, por su gran trabajo :) Esperamos que os gusten!

Let's go to the second part of the shooting that took place in Badalona last weekend. For the part II we changed the setting, although we found the beach and its bridge fascinating. We saw a great deal of interesting places to do the shooting, but this wall especially caught our attention because it gave a warm light to the pictures and it fused with the look completely. Thanks a lot again to Mariona, from MW Photography, for her great work :) We hope you like them!

Heard that sound

Otro look con sombrero, y es que no me los puedo sacar de la cabeza! jiji. Éste en concreto me gusta combinarlo con denim, diferentes marrones y negro. La cazadora tejana, otra de mis prendas infalibles, le saco mucho partido en un sinfín de outfits y nunca ha conseguido cansarme. ¿Y qué mejor que combinarlo todo con mi print favorito por excelencia? Me encanta poder encontrar en la tienda de mi madre este tipo de jerseys, y si son con estampado de leopardo, mucho mejor! Espero que os guste!!

Another look with a hat, I can't take them off of my head! When it comes to this one, I like to combine it with denim, different tones of brown and black. The denim jacket, another sure basic in my wardrobe, I make the most of it in a great deal of outfits and I never get tired of it. And what's better than combining all of this with my favourite print? I love finding in my mom's shop this kind of sweaters and, if they're with leopard print, even better! Hope you like it!!

Hoy, un look a conjunto con mi nuevo color de pelo, a base de diferentes tonalidades de marron y beige :). Siempre me han encantado estos colores, pero creo que el otoño acentua mucho más mi afición a ellos. No quise añadirle complementos, y es que me gustaba así de simple y senzillo. ¿Qué os parece? ¿Le añadiriais algo más vosotros? Un beso!

Today I show you an outfit with the same colours of my new hair, using different tones of brown and beige :). I've always loved these colours, but I think my love for them is stronger in autumn. I didn't want to add accessories, I liked it that way, easy and simple. What do you think? Would you add something else? Kisses!

Sweet Home Alabama

Las faldas son, sin duda, mi última prenda fetiche. Me gustan tanto en forma de campana (ver aquí) como en su versión más entallada y en forma de tubo como la que llevo. En mi opinión son ideales para diferentes ocasiones, y es que jugando con las demás prendas y complementos del look podemos transformarnos en nuestra versión más elegante o en la más desenfadada e informal. Tengo que confesar que últimamente no me quito ni para dormir estas gafas vintage que encontré en el Raval y que me enamoraron por su forma y su color rosa-morado medio transparente, originales y poco vistas aún. Espero que os guste!

The skirts are my last acquisitions in my wardrobe. I like bell shaped skirts (see here) and the ones more fitted like the one I'm wearing. Personally they're perfect for different occasions, as we can create a great deal of looks by changing the rest of the garments and complements of the outfit; from a more elegant version of ourselves to a more free-an-easy and informal one. I've to confess that I don't take these new vintage sunglasses off, it was love at first sight for its shape and its pink-purple colour, as well as for its see-through material, which totally caught my attention. Hope you like it!

Closing time

He decidido que éste otoño-invierno no me voy a desprender de mis prendas de colores más veraniegos, como estos pantalones. Sí, sé que os pueden parecen de verano por su color y degradado, pero aportan luz al look y creo que ésto es importante en época de frío en la que parece que mundo se haya puesto de acuerdo en llevar colores oscuros. Y, si hace más y más frío, ¡con medias debajo! El jersey de blonda, de la tienda de mi madre del año pasado. Qué suerte la mía poder encontrar cosas tan bonitas como ésta allí y contar con una asistente personal que sé que siempre me va a decir la verdad de cómo me quedan las cosas :) jiji. Espero que os guste!

I've decided that, this fall-winter, I'm not going to get rid of my garments in summery colours, like this pair of jeans. Yes, I know they may look a garment you would wear in summer for its colour and tie-dye effect, but they give a touch of light to the outfit and I think this is very important for cold season where it seems everybody has come to an agreement when it comes to wear dark colours. And, if it gets colder, with tighs under the jeans! The lace sweater, from my mom's clothes shop (a/w'11). I'm lucky that I can find beautiful things there and, at the same time, I can count with my personal assistant, who will always tell me the truth about how the garments fit on me :) jiji. Wake up

Esta blusa bicolor la encontré en Madrid y me gustó por ser diferente a todas las que tengo. Y, como ya es muy ancha de por sí, me encanta llevarla cerrada hasta el último botón, así también se percibe más el detalle dorado en las puntas del cuello. Combinada, en esta ocasión, con unos pitillo negro y las botas de tachuelas para aportarle mi sello más característico, jiji. ¿Qué opináis? Espero que os guste!

I found by chance this two-coloured blouse in Madrid and I liked it because it's different from the other ones I have. I love wearing it with all buttons up, so that the golden detail on the neck is perceived more easily. Combined, in this occasion, with a black skinny jeans and the studded boots to give to the look my most characteristic signature, jiji. What do you think? Hope you like it!
